we LOVE this school!!! Ratio is very low. ALL staff are very loving and caring for the children. My daughter enjoyed every minute she’s in school and always wants to share interesting things happened over the weekend with her teachers! School is very accommodating and works great with our other kid in CUSD schedule!
We're so pleased with the education and care our sons have received at GSCS. Every activity is engaging and appropriately challenging. The cooking, art, and science projects as well as practical life skills are very enriching. We especially appreciate the Biblical teaching at Chapel. We have been extremely happy with our son's experience at GSCS. Since enrolling, he has grown tremendously both academically and socially. The teachers have created a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment that has helped him develop confidence, independence, and a genuine love of learning. Our son looks forward to going to school every day and often comes home excited to share what he has learned, whether it's a new song, a science activity, or a creative art or cooking project. The preschool has also done an excellent job fostering social and emotional development. We have seen significant growth in our son's communication skills, ability to work with others, and overall self-confidence. The balance of structured learning, play, and exploration has been perfect for his development. The premises are also top-notch including spacious indoor classrooms, a well-equipped chapel, and an abundant amount of outdoor space including a playground and picnic area perfect for group gatherings. We would highly recommend GSCS to any parents looking for a supportive, enriching, and joyful early childhood education experience.
Such a bittersweet goodbye! We couldn't have asked for a more nurturing environment for the past 3 years. The small class sizes allowed Liam to form close bonds with his classmates and receive very personalized attention from the teachers, who are all so incredibly loving, knowledgeable, and supportive. GSCS does an incredible job teaching kids about the Gospel and the love of Jesus, and they build a great foundational knowledge on Biblical truth. At the outset, we were primarily looking for a caring and gentle environment for Liam, but we've also been struck by the academic rigor of the school as well. We will miss GSCS dearly!
We are very happy to see all the growth in learning and developing fundamental skills at GSCS! It's been a delight to hear how much fun he's been having and all the neat projects that he's been working on.
As Caleb graduates, we are incredibly grateful for the wonderful experience both he and his sister Chloe had at Good Shepherd Christian School. Good Shepherd not only prepared our children academically but also helped shape them into the kind, confident, curious, and God loving little people they are today. As the name says it, it’s Good Shepherd Christian School (GSCS). This is the second preschool I brought my identical twin girls to. Without any exaggerations, it has exceeded my best expectations. My girls came here a week after their second birthday. In the past three months, not only have my children received well-rounded loving care, I myself as an exhausted mom was also shepherded with such peace of mind by the loving /caring teachers here. My girls struggled with separation anxiety in their first preschool, ate very little for lunch, and the nap length varied much. When they came to GSCS and
Good Shepherd Christian School is truly a gem! My daughter struggled with separation anxiety and often had difficulties adjusting to new environments. However, the toddler teacher Miss Elise quickly helped her feel safe and comfortable. After just a few days, she was excited to go to school every morning and came home talking about her teacher and new friends. The student to teacher ratio is fantastic and I like how my daughter is exposed to Mandarin throughout the day. It is clean and very well-run with loving / caring teachers. I highly recommend it!
“It was our first time enrolling our son in preschool. At first, we were nervous because my son is cautious in new situations and with unfamiliar people. But the teachers are so incredible that they made my son feel comfortable and adapted to the new environment very quickly. And the teachers and kids’ ratio is great, so all of the students can receive individual attention. My son is excited every morning about going to school. Now he is more social and educated. We are very thankful to have discovered Good Shepherd Christian preschool. We highly recommend this school.”
